RETREAT  FOR RECOVERING ALCOHOLICS

17^TH , 18^TH  & 19^TH AUGUST 2012

A small Group of Recovering Alcoholics have started a Retreat since May 2009.

Then there are those occasions when alone, or in the company of our sponsor or spiritual advisor, we make a careful review of our progress since the last time. Many AA’s go in for annual or semiannual house cleanings. Many of us also like the experience of an occasional retreat from the outside world where we can quiet down for an undisturbed day or so of self overhaul and meditation. ( Twelve Steps & Twelve Traditions, “Step 10,” p.89 )

We invite you to participate in this Retreat  which will cater to the needs of all A.A.members on the exclusive lines of spirituality and principles of the A.A.Program. The retreat will commence on Friday 17th August 2012 at 18:00 P.M. and will continue till  Sunday 19^th August, and close after lunch / tea.  Kindly register after 15:00 P.M on the 17^th August 2012.

Goa and Outstation participants will vacate their room latest by 20^th Aug. 7 am.

We have been blessed with an old-timer who is experienced in AA Retreats – Rev Fr. JOHN BEHNKE worldwide and also an AA member. We are grateful to John who has consented to conduct the Retreat once again, coming all the way from USA paying all his expenses

During this Retreat we intend to discuss 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, and 12^th Steps of AA, with interactive and group sessions. The retreat will be conducted in English and efforts are being made to get an interpreter to translate in Hindi/Marathi simultaneousely by AA members.

These Retreats are non-sectarian not affiliated with or part of Alcoholics Annonymous and are for alcoholics regardless of sex, race, color or creed. Usage of any Camera will not be allowed and strict discipline will be observed during the Retreat,

The Tariff is Rs 1500/= and this includes the price of registration and charges for all meals & stay. The retreat is open  ONLY To ALCOHOLICS  and since only 30 person’s can be accommodated at Atma Darshan , the admission will be on “first come , first serve basis”.

All payments are non-refundable.
